Berger Károly Cave is a small cavity in the karst bedrock of Tapolca, in Hungary's Veszprém County, lying only a short distance from the town's well-known show cave, the Tapolcai-tavasbarlang (Lake Cave). It takes its name from Károly Berger, who served for many years as custodian and guide of the Lake Cave after its opening to the public in 1912, his long stewardship of the site later recognized by naming a nearby cavity after him. Like its larger neighbor, it formed through the dissolution of Sarmatian limestone by underground water rather than through surface erosion. The cave has not been developed for public visits and survives mainly as a documented part of Tapolca's wider karst network, a small marker of the people who maintained the area's better-known Lake Cave through the twentieth century.
