Boğazköy Museum is located in Boğazköy County, in the center of Boğazköy County, in the southwest of Çorum, 82 kilometers (51 mi) southwest of Boğazköy.

The museum was opened on 12 September 1966 and was reorganized in 2011. The museum exhibits excavations in the Hittite capital Hattuşa. The exhibition halls of the Boğazkale Museum have a thematic and chronological exhibition.

The two Sphinx doors in the Sphinx Gate in the Old City of Hatshepsut were taken to Berlin in 1907 for restoration because they were badly damaged by fire. After restoration, one of the sphinxes was returned to the Istanbul Archaeological Museum in 1924, and the other was preserved in the Berlin Museums until 2011. Both sphinxes are on display in the Boğazköy Museum since 26 November 2011.

The museum exhibits thematic and chronological exhibitions in the exhibition halls. The museum houses works from the time of the Calcolithic, Old Bronze, Assyrian Trade Colonies, Hittite Age, Iron Age (Frig), Galat, Roman and Byzantine periods.

The upper floor of the Hittite hall is described by the Hittite religious and military structure, writing system, excavated materials, information and visual signs.

The museum's garden features sphinxes from the Hittite period, hieroglyphic books, and milestones and tombstones from the Roman and Eastern Roman periods.
