The coat of arms museum located in the Fellner Courtyard in the Vatican was opened on May 12, 2007 by Tamás Mógor, coat‑of‑arms painter and heraldist. The exhibition presents the coats of arms of prominent historical figures as well as well‑known noble families, with special attention to Vatican connections. Every coat of arms on display is the artist’s unique, hand‑painted work, although only a part of his collection of several hundred pieces can be seen.
