The Gaál Imre Gallery is the independent building of the Pesterzsébet Museum at Budapest XX. Kossuth Lajos Street No. 39, in the pedestrian street of Pesterzsébet. It was renovated in 1989; since then the museum's gallery, the Gaál Imre Gallery, has operated here. The Gallery houses the Museum's fine arts collection of nearly 700 items, including 120 graphics by Gaál Imre, and paintings and pen drawings by Tóth Menyhért, Nolipa István Pál and Muszély Ágoston.

Primarily seasonal exhibitions of local contemporary artists can be seen here. A three‑decade tradition is the Spring Exhibition, which presents current works.

A permanently displayed artwork is Endre Rátkay's huge iconostasis titled Calendárium, painted on a gold base (3.5 m high, 15 m long, consisting of 415 picture panels). Rátkay was a contemporary of Gaál Imre and a colleague in the ÁTLÓK Artists' Group.
