The Hacı Şevki Efendi Dergahı, also known locally as the Şabaniye Dergahı, is a former dervish lodge in Bursa's old Setbaşı and Kurtoğlu quarter near the Gökdere stream. Records indicate the building was converted to use as a dergah in 1852, serving a Sufi community within the historic fabric of this central Bursa neighborhood. In 2006 heavy rainfall and flooding in the area caused significant damage to the structure, after which it stood as a ruin for roughly two decades. It was later restored by Turkey's General Directorate of Foundations, and for a time the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality leased the renovated building and ran it as a cultural venue. More recent reports describe the building standing empty and deteriorating again after being used by various private tenants, associations, and foundations, illustrating the ongoing difficulty of keeping Bursa's smaller Ottoman-era lodges in active use.
