II. Bayezid Mosque, a monumental mosque located within the II. Bayezid Complex in Edirne.

The mosque, situated at the center of the complex units, is a square, columnless and archless structure. Its architect is Mimar Hayrettin or Yakup Shah Bin Sultan Shah. Its foundation was laid in 1484 by the Ottoman Sultan II. Bayezid; it was opened for worship in 1488. The construction inscription, arranged in two lines and consisting of six boxes, on the main gate was written by Zenbilli Ali Efendi. The calligrapher is Sheikh Hamdullah. The five-line inscriptions above the mihrab-shaped niches on the right and left walls of the gate are also attributed to Sheikh Hamdullah.

It has a single dome with a diameter of 22 m placed on the four walls. In the courtyard, surrounded by a 22-dome cloister, there is an open-air ablution fountain in the center. The sultan's mahfil located among 17 marble columns is considered the first mahfil built in Ottoman mosque architecture. The sliding mosque doors, among the finest examples of Turkish woodwork, were damaged after being submerged for a long time due to floods in the Tunca River and were transferred to the Edirne Museum for preservation.
