İzmit Earthquake Memorial and Awareness Museum

Izmit Earthquake Memorial and Awareness Museum; an earthquake museum located in the district of Izmit in Kocaeli.

It was opened in 2017 by the Izmit Municipality in the Cephanelik Recreation Area in order not to forget the Marmara Earthquake of 17 August 1999 and to raise public awareness about earthquakes.
