Kyzylaray State Nature Sanctuary (zoological)

Kyzylairai Reserve is a nature reserve of republican importance.

Geographical location, geographical area

Karaganda region is located in the south of Karkarali district. It has an area of 17,5 thousand hectares. The main landscape of the reserve is the Kyzylarai mountains, which are mostly composed of granite.

Flora

Rare pine forest is found on the mountain slopes, which is a pine forest that grows in the south of Saryarka, so its protection is of scientific and economic importance.

The plains of the Kyzylarai Mountains are mostly covered with dry-grain plants, and in the valleys of the rivers and streams there are thick, greenish, small forests, bushes and grasslands.

Fauna

The base of the reserve is the animal world of the eagle, the eagle, the cobra, the white and grey cobra, the land, etc.
