Balık Gölü is a coastal lagoon located in the Kızılırmak Delta in the province of Samsun.

The lake shares the eastern shores of the delta with Lake Liman, Lake Cernek, Lake Gıcı, Lake Tatlı, and Lake Uzun. Lake Karaboğaz is located on the western side of the delta. As in all parts of the delta, the Kızılırmak Delta is rich in lakes and marsh areas.

Because Balık Gölü is connected to the sea, it is saltier than the other lakes. The lake’s depth averages 1.5 m, reaching up to 3 m at its fullest. The delta sandbars formed by wind-driven water from the sea separate the lake. The sandbars are 7–8 m high.
