Oskemen Reservoir

The Uskemen dam is located on the southeast side of the city of Uskemen, at the junction of the Ablaiqit Gorge of the Yurtis River. The Uskemen water power station was commissioned in 1952.

Hydrological mode

The water is very cold in summer. The thickness of the bottom of the mud is 0.2–0.8 m. In the basin there are 22 species of fish (mountain fish, ice, bottom fish, slender, albacore, sazan, shorten, whitefish, etc.). Most of these have a professional meaning.
