Basseyn Lake

The lake of the basin A beautiful small lake on Karkarali Mountain.

Geographical location

It is located 6 km southwest of Karkarali city of Karaganda region, near Satankol, at the top of a rocky ridge (1200 m above sea level), in a long gulf between a pine forest.

Hydrographic

The southern shore is 60 m long, 40 m wide, and 2 m deep. The southern shore is a high vertical rock consisting of granite, which in summer shades the lake and prevents water from boiling. The western and northern shores are open and flat. The eastern shore is open, through which the lake's excess water flows and the water level is kept in a steady state. Snow and rain are filled with water, the water is clear, fresh.
