The Ramazanoğlu Mosque in Adana's Çukurova district is a modern mosque built in the Ottoman architectural idiom, with a large central dome, slender corner minarets, and broad covered courtyards characteristic of classical Ottoman design. Completed and opened for worship on 23 July 2014, it takes its name from the Ramazanoğlu dynasty, the Turkmen beylik that once governed the Çukurova plain before Ottoman rule and whose historic mosque-and-madrasa complex still stands in central Adana. Located in the Toros neighborhood, the mosque is regularly cited as the second-largest in the city and serves the fast-growing residential districts on Adana's northern edge. Its construction reflects a broader regional pattern of reviving historic Ottoman mosque forms, including domed prayer halls and tall paired minarets, in newly built religious architecture rather than adopting purely contemporary styles.
