The Sheikh Badraddin Mausoleum is one of four surviving tombs of the Hazra Mausoleum Complex, a cluster of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century funerary monuments set in a roughly 3.5-hectare medieval cemetery near Hazra village in Qabala district, Azerbaijan. Its inscription identifies the tomb as belonging to Sheikh Badraddin, described as the son of Sheikh Shamsaddin, and records his death in 850 AH, equivalent to 1446-1447, making it one of the earlier structures in the complex. The building follows the Shirvan-Absheron architectural tradition, with an octagonal plan carried through both its interior chamber and its external walls, a form typical of Sufi memorial architecture in the Shirvan region. Originally the cemetery held seven such mausoleums built for local sheikhs; only four, including this one, remain standing today, giving the site continued importance for understanding medieval religious architecture in northern Azerbaijan.
