Xəzər Dəniz Gəmiçiliyi QSC mədəniyyət binası
This building in Baku serves as a cultural and history center for the Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping company, one of the country's oldest state-linked enterprises. Its main hall, presented under the theme "Harmony in Values, Commitment to Development," guides visitors through around 160 years of the company's history, from its founding through the Soviet period to the present day. Exhibits recall the wartime service of Azerbaijani sailors during the Second World War and the fleet's connection to the events of January 1990, alongside material documenting Heydar Aliyev's role in developing the shipping company and later state investment in the Caspian merchant fleet. An interactive book and information displays let visitors follow the timeline and the people associated with it. The center functions primarily as a corporate and maritime heritage museum, reflecting Baku's long-standing identity as a hub of Caspian Sea shipping.
