Hacı İlyas Yatağan Mosque, located in the Ayvansaray neighborhood of Fatih district, Istanbul Province, is a mosque built during the reign of II. Mehmed. It was commissioned as a prayer house by Hacı İlyas Ağa, the chief artillery officer of II. Mehmed. In the reign of II. Süleyman, a fountain was built near the mosque by a person in the name of Yatağâni Dede and, because he was buried in the mosque cemetery after his death, it is also known as "Yatağan Mosque". In the reign of III. Mehmed (1598) a minbar was added and it was converted into a mosque.

On the right side of the mosque is the grave of Topçubaşı İlyas Ağa and, immediately to the right of the minaret, the tomb of Yatağan Dede. In the mosque courtyard there is also a plane tree that is leaning toward the ground.

It has a single minaret and a single balcony. The roof is covered with tiles. The minbar and pulpit are made of wood. The mihrab is marble. The ceiling is covered with wood. The women's section is made of wood and is on the second floor. Since the last prayer area was later closed and incorporated into the mosque, the front façade of the mosque, with its wood, concrete plaster and plastic windows, is far from its original architecture. The side walls of the mosque and the qibla wall are made of stone.
