The Zincariya Medrese or known by other names as the Sincariya Medrese is a historical medrese located in Sur district of Diyarbakir.

Historical and architectural

Although the Chain Medress is not certain, it is widely believed to have been built in 1236 during the reign of the Ayyubid ruler Melik Salih Necmeddin. Some sources say that it was built by Kutbuddin Muzaffer II Sökmen in 1198 during the reign of the Arthurian dynasty.

The entrance to the two-aisled medrasa is covered with a crossed pitch. The top of the courtyard is open and surrounded by girded refaces, with a liquid pool in the middle.
