Belső-tó

Lake Inner is a volcanic water body near Tihany on the Tihanyi Peninsula, located 25 metres above Balaton, in the caldera of the volcanic eruption.

Once famous for its rich flora and fauna, the Asian plant-eating fish species have been completely wiped out in recent decades, and most of the birds nesting there have moved to the Outer Lake.
