Çavuşin Köyü Eski Kaya Cami, a mosque located in the village of Çavuşin in the district of Avanos, Nevşehir.

It is believed that the first imam of the mosque was Hafız Derviş. The construction date of the building is unknown; it is the second oldest mosque in the village. When first built, it was created by carving a rock mass in accordance with the characteristics of the region and is estimated to have been situated on an area of 35 m2. Over time, as the capacity became insufficient, expansion works were carried out on the entrance and qibla sides of the mosque. With these expansions made in the 1940s, the area covered by the mosque increased to 65 m2.

The mosque’s minaret was built in the Seljuk style. In 1958, after a landslide, a part of the village including the mosque was declared a disaster area and evacuated. The mosque, which was closed during this period, was restored in 2011 and opened to tourists.
