Cultural values

The cultural values of the protected landscape area are also significant: the region contains the earthwork chain system built around the 3rd century by the local Szarmata tribes (most beautifully visible at the border of Nagycsere). In Nyíracsád there is an Árpád-era church, and in Monostorpálya the tuber storage facilities are valuable sights.
