İmaret Mosque is the only Ottoman mosque in Akşehir. It was commissioned by Hasan Pasha in 1510.

The building consists of cut stone. The mosque's single large dome is blind. Small domes that serve as lanterns are located at its four corners. Three domes supported by four marble columns cover the prayer hall. In front of the mosque there is a fountain with 12 columns.

The underside of the bronze bracelet on the first column to the left of the entrance of İmaret Mosque has been filled like a guestbook with the writings of visitors to Akşehir. The most important of these writings belongs to Evliya Çelebi. In the text he wrote, Evliya Çelebi says, "Poor Mehmed Sultan Murad Khan – May God confirm him – came here with his soldiers. He wrote this on the 26th day of the year 1048 of the Hijri calendar."
