Kamal Kazi madrasa - Architectural monument in Kokand (19th century). The building of the Kamal Kazi madrasa consists of a classroom, a courtyard mosque, a kitchen and small rooms. The entrance hall is prominent, and just as in the Khudoyorkhon courtyard, only the entrance part (facade) of this building is richly carved. The top of the lintel is covered with multicolored patterns, and the geometric shapes blend with Arabic inscriptions. The brackets on both sides of the lintel are topped with decorative cornices. The entrance hall has two floors. The upper floor's classroom has a front porch and is surrounded by a railing. Its roof is covered with a four-sided pyramidal dome. Around the courtyard, a mosque and rooms were built. The mosque has four columns, an open eastern side, and a porch built with a stepped platform. Its interior is finished with plaster. The exterior is without plaster. In the architecture of the Kamal Kazi madrasa, the traditions of the local Kokand craftsmen found expression. The madrasa has been restored and is used as a hotel.
