Pervizoğlu Mosque is a historic mosque located in the district of Yakutiye, Erzurum Province, Turkey.

History

Pervizoğlu Mosque does not have any inscription indicating its construction date. From its 1715 endowment deed it is understood that the mosque and the surrounding madrasa rooms were commissioned in that year by Pervizoğlu Hacı Mehmet.

Architectural features

Pervizoğlu Mosque is essentially a miniature example of Erzurum mosques. It has a three-domed main prayer hall and a single dome covering the interior space.

The mosque is built of neatly cut stone, while brick is used in the dome and tromps. The minaret, located at the north‑west of the mosque, protrudes northward from the main wall of the mosque.
