Sheikh Keramettin Mosque, a mosque built in the early 17th century located in the city center of Giresun.

It is accepted that the building was commissioned by Sheikh Keramettin in the early 17th century. Sheikh Keramettin came to Giresun in the 1590s and carried out madrasa and zawiya activities here. Its mention in the 1642 Avarız Register together with the mosque and its tomb shows that the structure existed before that date.

Architecture

The mosque was constructed using cut stone and rubble stone with a masonry technique. It has a longitudinal rectangular plan and consists of a prayer hall and a women's section. On the north façade there is a low-arched entrance portal. The other façades have round-arched window openings. Inside, a wooden ceiling and a double‑storey wooden gallery attract attention. The mihrab is made of stone, while the minbar and pulpit are wooden. The minaret, located at the northwest corner of the mosque, has a square base, a polygonal shaft, and a single balcony.
