The Wolf Mausoleum, also referred to as the Wolf Crypt, is a freestanding grave chapel built for the Wolf family in what was once the cemetery of Budatétény, now part of Budapest's twenty-second district on the southern edge of the city. The surrounding cemetery was officially closed and liquidated in 1988, after which most of its graves were removed or left untended, yet the mausoleum's stone structure has remained standing on the site even though the burial ground around it no longer functions as an active cemetery. Little published detail survives about the Wolf family itself or the chapel's exact date of construction, and today the building is documented mainly as a notable surviving fragment of a vanished Budapest burial ground, its weathered facade a visible trace of the district's earlier history.
