In the Amu Darya delta, the production of natural reed resources, their restoration, as well as the preservation of desert ecosystems in the Xorazm region and the further improvement of ecotourism led to the establishment of the Xorazm National Natural Park, whose total area for nature conservation in the districts of Urganch, Khonqa, Khiva, Yangibozor and Hazorasp of the Xorazm region is 21 687.5 hectares. Here Bukhara goats, jayrón and other rare animals are artificially bred. A material‑technical base is organized for scientific research work. The facility creates the possibility of creating nature with the involvement of foreign grants and scholars. The breeding center building includes a training seminar hall for 50 people, a laboratory, and other spaces. The nature park is a structural unit of the State Ecological Committee.
