The Dorog Bányász Memorial House is the only remaining building of Újkolónia on the Schmidt Sándor housing estate built on the site of the colony demolished in the 1980s. Not far from it is the cultural house. Since September 6, 1983, it has housed a commemorative exhibition created for the 200th anniversary of the coal basin coal mining. It consists of three rooms, which contain old photographs, rocks, various tools, instruments, and mining equipment. In one of the rooms the collection of mineral collector Béla Papp can also be viewed. Its chief caretaker is Judit Solymár, mechanical engineer.
