Mobilis Science Center
Mobilis is an interactive science and technology center in Győr, built with support from Széchenyi István University and the city government and designed by the architect Iván Nagy. Rather than displaying historical artifacts, Mobilis is organized around hands-on experimentation, aiming to connect visitors, especially schoolchildren and families, with the natural sciences and digital technology through direct participation rather than static exhibits. Its programming includes robotics and LEGO-based engineering workshops, astronomy sessions held on a rooftop observation terrace, virtual-reality stations, science-themed escape rooms, a FabLab maker space, and seasonal science camps, alongside career-guidance activities aimed at encouraging interest in technical fields. Centrally located on Vásárhelyi Pál utca, it has become one of Győr's most visited family attractions since opening, and its distinctive building is itself considered a notable piece of contemporary architecture in the city.
